Ingredients
  

  • 1 whole chicken 4–5 pounds
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika optional
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 360°F (182°C).Pat the chicken completely dry with paper towels.Rub the chicken with olive oil.Mix all the seasonings and coat the chicken evenly.Place the chicken breast-side down in the air fryer basket.Cook for 30 minutes.Carefully flip the chicken breast-side up.Cook for another 25–30 minutes, or until the thickest part of the breast reaches 165°F (74°C).Remove the chicken and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
